It isn't just the televangelists that are prone to hypocrisy. My husband has noticed that some lower-level leaders (such as assistant pastors) have trouble living up to their professed values as well. For example, one separatist Baptist of his acquaintance had a great deal of trouble finding work that paid enough to support his family, while living in a subculture that insisted that the man had to be either the primary or the sole support of the family while the woman's primary or sole task was...
