More on the "disconnect"
My current problem lies in trying to get my husband to see that this significant problem exists. He has experienced equivalent problems of his own (remind me to tell you, once I get permission, of some of those problems). When I try to point out these gender-based problems to him - that we women, particularly those of us playing a more traditional role, are pressured by implication to behave in a certain fashion - the discussion invariably degenerates into a discussion equivalent to the old...
