It's been snowing all day long today and as I came in from retrieving my briefcase out of the car, the snow continues to fall. The temps had made it to 31 earlier today, but are headed down to about eight or so. I've made some progress on two of my projects, one a short story and one to be at least... Hmmm. Weird. I reported this place to Amazon last night when I found that they were 'selling' my books (there were 15 of them up last night!). I expected it would take at least a few days to get it resolved. I just checked their site, and my books are no longer listed there. That was fast. If you... Sign in to see full entry.

Free Audible Stories

I just posted this over on Twitter and then thought maybe some of you would like one. Part of this is Twitter jibberish, so ignore the hashtags! Just got another batch of 50 #Audible FREE #PROMO codes for my #audio books: I Remember Judy - A Love Story #Romance https://tinyurl.com/vdrbx7t 'The... Sign in to see full entry.

I hadn't been up to see 'Mama Superior,' a term of love for Lake Superior as she is the mother of life here in almost three weeks. I mentioned to a lady at the 'Senior Center' that I had been a medic and then an ER nurse, and she corralled me into helping them. It seems that their long time former nurse had developed health issues of her... Sign in to see full entry.

I rarely cross post from FB to here, but this is from my political page on FB about a subject no one ever addresses. It's Saturday, so I'm going to post a non-political article that probably hits home with all of us. As a paramedic and then an ER nurse, I saw more than my share of suicides. People... I was going to make a quick trip to the Soo today, but we are having intermittent snow showers. I looked at the radar, and the road I would take across the state has bands of heavy snow showing. When I went downtown a few minutes ago, it was snowing quite heavily. I don't need anything that badly... Sign in to see full entry.

School Daze

Whew! It's cold outside! It says it is 12 or so, but it feels more like -20 with the wind out there. I did my little talk today. I was originally told that there would be roughly ~12-14 kids and two adults and we would talk for 35-45 minutes. We ended up with over 24 high school kids and seven... Sign in to see full entry.
