Movie Review: The Producers

The latest incarnation of the movie, based on the record setting, tony-award winning play, is mel brooks last hurrah of this entire genre. A musical is something that I haven't seen in a long time and the Brooksian version of this film is more like the play than the old movie. I still like the old... Sign in to see full entry.

The Universe and beyond by quantum entanglement

Is it possible to goto other worlds, if not other Universes through the miracle of quantum entanglement? Einstein and friends did a paper trying to debunk quantum mechanics as the new theory of existence in the early thirties. In the process, they came upon a profound realization about the nature of... life was easy when it was boring

Theres' a song by the band, The Police that goes something like the title. And life was easy, easy to wake up at the time you wanted. Easy not to get out of bed...maybe check out some porn on the laptop or just watch anything on the The Discovery Channel. When did life get busy, and hard? When did... Sign in to see full entry.

What a day!

I am soooo exhausted today. I spent about 7 hours trying to fix this woman's wireless network. I bought routers and extenders and pc cards..etc. She lives in a haunted house if you ask me. Then to top it all off, the wi-fi card on her laptop hit skids. That made her angry, and me even more so. I'm... Sign in to see full entry.

What to write for a screenplay?

I've got a little bit of a spark left in me from my screenplay days. I'm thinking of writing another one, I've got a little muse buzzing in my ear. I think I can pull it off but its not easy, writing is a laborious project that requires a lot of work. What's crazy about writing any kind of story is... Sign in to see full entry.

A ton of snow

Today's storm is interesting in that snow being dumped right now will probably evaporate by the end of the weekend. I just saw the sun peek out of the clouds for about half and hour before being swallowed up by the storm clouds. This was a brief but intese winter storm, the kind that you should... This might be more than its worth but less than it could be

Running a small business requires a lot of heart. It seems that it takes forever to get from the lift off stage to the event horizon stage. That's where the business is self-sufficient and can be an income and money generating outfit. There is not much to do in that case. Just pay the bills and then... Sign in to see full entry.

The Celtics are close but no cigar

The Celtics had their heyday in the era of Larry Byrd, Robert Parish and Danny Ainge, etc. Nowadays they're lucky if they can just make the playoffs. The Celtics though, are coming off the legacy that Aurbach created in the sixties of a FORCE to be reckoned with; now they're just bad wind. What... Sign in to see full entry.

The dead walk...only in my memories

Its been over three and a half years since my friend passed away. I still think about the guy and what he brought to my life quite often. He was a giver of generosity and could also be a toxic person when he wanted to be. He would laugh in a weird kind of way, but he was ultimately a harmless man. A... Sign in to see full entry.

The push towards sugar-free blogging

The other day while I was in the market, I noticed that a lot goods are now moving towards the sugar-free end. I think its because of the new Splenda that's coming out in gangbusters. I saw the most incredible cookies that were sugar-free and grabbed a whole bunch of them. While I made my way down... Sign in to see full entry.
