Here they come... ! New photos

I just made the drive across the West from Puget Sound to Pike's Peak, 1500 miles in three days, a more challenging drive in winter than it might sound. For one thing, the driving day is so much shorter: In August, I can drive until 9 o'clock in daylight and dusk; In December, the sun goes down... Sign in to see full entry.

The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

You may have heard of it, if you caught that youtube video of the lioness mouthing the glass as if trying to eat a toddler who seems very unimpressed.
