That is one of my personal favorite cats and favorites at this zoo. It is the Pallas Cat, or Manul, and is a wild cat native to the Mideast and parts of Asia. Their eyes are peculiar, in that they have round rather than slitted pupils.

Don't you just love animals. I'll bet that Rocky is sure tired of waiting for Son & Grandson at the kennel. He used to go with them on their trips, but he is getting so old and is having a lot of arthritis pain when he moves, and he is deaf now.
