Rules for Internet Dating

I have ventured into the world of internet dating. My pool of local men to date that I meet are homeless and out of work. Not a good pool to pick from. Anyway, I am learning there are a few things to look out for when reviewing picks. First make sure there are not bars in front or behind the man in the picture. WoooooHooooo Vacation

Friday was a much better day until the bedbug exposure and then it was clean, clean, clean. Nothing is more fun than stripping outside your door and putting all your clothes in a plastic bag before you can go into your house. Thank goodness it was getting dark by the time I got home and my back deck is private. Those bugs can infest any where. Vacation Next Week.

I can hardly wait. I am staying home and resting and clearing out everything. After yesterday, I am ready for a vacation starting today. It was another growth opportunity.LOL I got into another pair of skinny jeans yesterday and a tee tucked with a belt and I looked really good. Wooooohooooo I'm almost to 50 lbs. lost. A Blessing for the Marriage

Blake and Yvette had a cook out today for her parents and the grandparent representatives who came from Africa to attend the wedding. I had to work the migrant camp so I arrived at the tail end. Blake had cooked BBQ chicken, Teryaki chicken, mac and cheese, cowboy beans and sausages and grilled corn on the cob. He is such the good cook. They are such a happy family and they are so sweet. One More Week

One more week and my vacation starts for a week and a half. It was supposed to be cruise time but I was disinvited this year after the ex thought I might have had a date. Anyway I moved the time up and am going to take a well deserved rest and start the de-cluttering. I have a friend who is going to help me get all of Joe's stuff to his front porch. I Forgot and Thought I was Wonder Woman or Super Woman

With all the flurry of activities with the last 2 weeks of the Wedding and an average of 2-3 hours of sleep each night and the adrenalin rush, I forgot that I have to monitor my distance to the edge of oblivion and the Fibro Hole. So I ended the 2 weeks with 2 12 hour back to back shifts. Silly me. Soooooo, I had to take a 1/2 day off Wed. and back off any extra activity after work and just rest. What a Week

After 2 weeks of last minute weddding detail and three days of celebration, I was exhausted. So I followed all that with 2 back to back 12 hour days. I am now 6 inches shorted since I have run my legs off. Wednesday afternoon I started into shut down and had to take half the day off. So all I've done all day is rest and sleep. I had also met someone on line who seemed very nice and someone I would want to meet but then the red flags were waving in air. What am I a jerk magnet? First I get stood... The Most Magical Three Days of Wedding Celebration Ever

I We have celebrated for three days. It started on Thurs with a big family dinner at Yvette's parents and meeting all the family from Africa, Chicago, Texas and Cameroon. Then on Friday was the rehearsal dinner and Blake was welcomed into the family as a son since they do not believe in "in laws". The Fifth Try

I have lost 4 posts so I hope this one will take. It is one week before the Wedding. I have been scanning pictures all afternoon so I can finish the scrape book for Blake and Yvette. I have pictures from birth thru high school but everyone has been too busy to get me pictures from the last two years. Yvette does not know that her parents have pictures of her here in the States. Playing Hooky

It is such a beautiful day here and I am playing hooky this afternoon. I took off and came home for some swing therapy and to pick up around the house. I have to get the downstairs viewable. My friend at work Lupe` is getting a divorce and it is getting ugly. Her brother mi amigo Enrique has moved out of the apartment he rented from Lupe` and her soon to be ex and needs an apartment. A Rough Day at Work

We lost a child today. He was a 2 year old and he was accidently backed over by his mother's van. We sent an interpreter and a FNP student over to the hospital to support the family. Of course everyone was upset all day. When our staff got back, after being with the family for 5 hours at the hospital, they said the ER staff had not been very comforting to the family. The Wedding Shower

Trying not to cry. It was a beautiful shower. The hostesses were so warm and gracious. They all were ladies from the church that Yvette and Blake are getting married in. Yvette looked beautiful as always. Most of her friends were not all able to make it because of the date change from the original plan. They received lovely gifts. A lot of serving dishes in stands.
