Another Great Birthday

I have had another great birthday with my kids and T. We went out to eat at Beef O'Bradys and had the best fun. Our sliders and onion rings were cold but we had fun anyway. My children are so funny and put them with T all we do is laugh. T and I are still recovering from putting down my new kitchen floor yesterday. It looks so good. Of course anything would look better than what was down. Clearing out

It has been a long day. I have cleared out all the cabinets and wiped them clean. I have filled several garbage bags with outdated food and spices. I painted the rest of the cabinets and just need one more coat on them. T went and picked up the vinyl and quarter round and we unloaded it. My aunt called and she is finally going to pick up the buffet that belonged to our great grandmother tomorrow so I will have more room in the kitchen. I don't have room for it. Finally a New Kitchen Floor

I am so excited I finally found my perfect kitchen flooring today. Mr S and I took up all the quarter round and cleaned the floor behind the stove and refrigerator and moved the panty after cleaning it out. I've only been looking for 14 years now. Richard kept putting it off saying we were going to replace the cabinets and we never got to it. It is sheet vinyl and looks like old oak flooring and all we have to do is lay it, cut it and tack it down with new quarter round. We are going to do it... Sign in to see full entry.

T rescues again

I have been eating out of coolers for a week now waiting for the refrigerator repair man who finally came yesterday. Now I am waiting for my home warranty service to make up their minds whether they are going to replace it or have it fixed. The compressor is shot. It is only a 50.00 difference between a new refrigerator and fixing the refrigerator. This is the second repair in four months. T has a friend who repairs and sells used appliances. An ER visit

Although all has been well in my land of sunshine, I have been extremely tired. No real reason, just tired. It could be Fibro flare caused by all this crazy weather change. We have 50-60 degrees one day and 30 degrees the next. I have been pushing the envelop a little even though I am tired. I am painting my kitchen cabinets and changing out curtains and curtain rods in the living room with T help with the rods and blinds. He is allergic to paint fumes so he passed on that. Laughter is the Best Love

Can it be any better? Starting each day with a smile and then a laugh that continues throughout the day, is the best that love can offer.. Party Time

Brooke celebrated her 25th birthday on January 6. I took all my children out to eat on Saturday at Cootie Browns. Brooke's choice. T wasn't able to go with us. My ex had said he was coming up but decided not to since he had seen Brooke the weekend before. Really!!! At least Brooke can laugh about it along with the rest of us. A Very Merry Christmas Day Had by All

hew!!!! Finally I can rest but have had the best Christmas in a very long long time. The best was cooking with T making all the goodies for his family and for my family and for Yvette's family. We had such a good time together. T got me a Sirrus radio receiver for Christmas. I was so surprised. He put it in my car for me. He is so amazing. Christmas

I have not cooked so many Christmas treats in years but they are sooooooooooooooo good. T and I made sausage balls, cheese puffs, cowboy cookies, peanut butter candy, nuts and bolts and cheese balls last Saturday for my family Christmas. This Saturday we make more for his family Christmas and for Yvette's family Christmas that I am invited to on Sunday. I am meeting Tfam ily for the first time tomorrow night. Living Life and Enjoying Every Moment

What can I say but "Life is good today," Christmas is going to be so great this year. We are having our Christmas party this Sunday so the kids and everyone else can be with other family members without trying to rush around Christmas eve and Christmas day. Memories

I have been given assignments in Erwin these past two months. Erwin is where Richard lived and worked before we married. He is buried there. I have been given assignments in the nursing home where I had taken him for the first respite stay. I left him my phone and the stay was not respite for me. It only lasted 4 days. It has changed since he was there. The clients seem to be more chronic psychotic elderly and the smell is hard to bear. I definitely would not have left him there if it had been... Clearing Out

After getting almost got up with all my assignments, I decided to take the day off and get organized. LOL T came over and we loaded up his truck and took a load of stuff down to the shed. I should have done "handle it one time" rule but it is moved closer to the burn pile. I can now walk into the back bedroom. I have really got to get my office organized so I can keep all these assignments straight. I am going to three different towns and six different nursing homes. I have got to get a better... A Night in the Sleep Lab

I had to have a sleep study done last night. I arrived at 9pm and was escorted to a monitored bedroom. I was then wired up from head to legs and went to bed. I was instructed not to get uip without calling for help so the wires would stay intact. I took all my meds and settled in to watch some TV and try and go to sleep. After an hour or so I finally got to sleep and woke up at 5:30 am which was the time the study was over. If I had been at home, I would have been uipset at waking up too early...
