What an Amazing Day

I am so overwhelmed with pride and love and amazement at the Thanksgiving my children, especially Brooke, organized and cooked. We had so much food it was spread over three rooms. We had such a good time. The only flaw was T got sick and had to go home before we got started after he helped me peel the potatos he grew in his garden and carting a table over to Blake and Yvette's. Bad day to get sick. So Many Blessings

I have been blessed in so many ways this past year. A wonderful new family and a wonderful new friend and a wonderful new life. We have twenty-five family members coming to Blake and Yvette's tomorrow for Thanksgiving. Each of us is bringing something so no one person is cooking the whole meal by themselves. Back to Work and Bad Dawgs--No Biscuits

Finally returned to work today, I was off for a full week. The CT scan was negative for a kidney stone or anything else. So probably pain caused by adhesions. As T would say, I killed a few chickens(LOL) and did healing energy work and am now feeling better. I am wearing my TENS unit but at least the pain is under control. Everyone at work was surprised how busy the evening shift had become and they had to have two nurses working each night I was off. Da Huh They had a nurse meeting today and... Taking Care

I am avoiding the guilt of not doing my responsibilities at work and have been resting quietly for four days now. I finally got the pain quieted down with my tens unit or I should say substituted one pain for another. I went to the Chiropractor today and feel better energy flow, He checked my kidney meridian and it is weak. The adjustments helped but there is still an underlying pain. I have to go tomorrow and get the CT order and the gunk to drink. Ugh!!!!!!! I will be glad to get the results... Sign in to see full entry.

HI All

Finally, I got my credit card straightened out. It was lost in mail 2 times and I had to cancel and reapply for the last 2 months. This also means all my auto pay bills have had to be reset. Yada Yada Yada!!!!!!! I have missed you all very much. There is so much to catch up on. The first is a shocking story. My 45 year old Family Nurse Practitioner had a sudden cardiac and respiratory arrest last Friday. We had just been talking and I got up and went for BRB and heard all this running and... Another Wonderful Weekend

Sorry haven't been on. Still trying to get my visa card updated. Where it is I don't know. Anyway I couldn't ask for a better weekend. So much fun and good food and yes one too may margarita's. But am feeling fine and happy. It is so nice to have someone in my life that is so funny and so wonderful. We just have the best time. I am contemplating going to part time prn work. Electronic Record Keeping

We are finally going to electronic record keeping at work. Yes we still use paper charts. It will be a relief not to have to hunt for the chart for an hour but then when a screen doesn't open for charting.................... Which option is worse. Anyway, we have been closed during the day hours and open for the extended shift. HaHaHaHaHaHaHa What fun!! The Fun Continues but

the weather front interrupted due to a Fibro flare. It started Sunday and really intensified by Monday night. The Fibro fog was also intense. I left work early Monday and came home. I couldn't walk well Tuesday. The legs just wouldn't cooperate. I called in and rested all day mostly. My friend came by and brought Gregg's Pizza and salad. Gregg's is absolutely just the best. Girl Just Likes to Have Fun

I have laughed more in the past two weeks then in forever. I am truly having fun. We cooked in tonight and made taco salad and Marguaritas. Niether of us had cooked in awhile and we had a great time doing it together. He had gone to the store while I was at work and bought everything and got fresh tomatoes out of his garden. BTW he cans also. He brought me pickles and they are good!!!! It is so nice to have someone to be so relaxed with and enjoy the day with or just a moment with. I am even... A Perfect Weekend

Beautiful weather and the leaves are changing. They have not peaked but the ride to Hot Springs Spa was so relaxing and beautiful. Even though we went higher in to the mountains in NC, the TN side was much prettier. Hot Springs is a natural mineral spring spa and they have totally rebuilt everything and installed new tubs. The tubs are still private and sit along the river bank with beautiful views. You can rent a tub for an hour for twenty seven dollars for 2. The energy vibration is so high... Where Has the Time Gone again

Where to start? I got my downstairs cleaned and rented this past weekend to two good friends. Of course my upstairs is a mess but I am cleaning out a box at a time. It feels good to have the downstairs clean and to have someone here in the house. I will be really happy when I get rid of the "stuff" in my living space. I have had a date with a really nice man who emailed over the weekend from a dating site and come to find out he lives near me. We met at a local restaurant and had a great time. I... Busy Days

I don't think I have stopped since going back to work. It has been unending. I had a part time job fall into my lap and will be starting next week. I will be doing chart reviews again between now and the end of the year. I also got the downstairs apartment rented to two good friends and have to finish cleaning this weekend. Actually I can't believe how good I am feeling and when I look back have been for quite some time now. The energizer bunny is back. It is amazing what a vacation will do for...
