I volunteer in the kitchen where I attend church. It seems the other person who was in charge felt underappreciated and tired. Now I think they are assuming I am taking her place. My sister called me 2 nights ago. She usually just calls me on the weekend. Her conversation starts out with "Did I tell you Uncle Manuel hasn't been feeling well?" Oh cripes! "No you didn't."
