thanks cct...my mom told me a couple of years ago that she was ready to die cuz she was just taking up space....sighhhhhhhh....i told her i was in no hurry to lose her

I hope your mother keeps on as long as she wants to,
and that you all can celebrate the good life that was. I love it that she's doing her hair and being in the moment even under such sad circumstances. Peace.

Oh A , that was a gem saying he had been ill and was now dead. Poor old Mum, but it looks like she will carry on for a good while. Looking after her appearance is a sure sign of
good health. I know it is always sad ,but nothing much one can do about it apart from feeling depressed.

my mom is the one who said that.... she took it very hard when my uncle died back in the 70's and since has lost all but 2 brothers and and 5 sisters

We are an aging population! I extend my condolences! And live life to the fullest while you're here and don't worry about who should be going first or who thinks it as well! We are here to enjoy life and then gently we pass on to another realm of existence in my humble opinion! sam

Sadly I am now hearing of older cousins who have died..all the older
generation are gone long ago. Sorry that you are going through all this.
