Then there is the sibling that is never satisfied with what she has. She wants What you have. She wants to do what you are doing. My mom divided us in categories. There were the three big ones me, my older sister and brother and then the three little ones - the younger three sisters. My mom almost... Sign in to see full entry.

Siblings- Do You Prefer Them or Not? #3
Siblings are a blessing and a curse. Hopefully the good far outweighs the bad. I have a 4 sisters and 1 brother by my mom and another 1 of each by my dad. Growing up my older sister and I shared a room. We were always fighting like cats and dogs. We fought over everything. I would copy things that... Sign in to see full entry.

Siblings- Do You Prefer Them or Not? #2
My sister and I were talking about my previous entry about siblings. She smiled and said thanks. And of course she reminded me of something that I didn't include about her. My mother made or would have made matching outfits for us for Christmas and Easter (other clothes as well but always these 2)... Sign in to see full entry.

Siblings- Do You Prefer Them or Not?
Where would we be without our families? I mean seriously. Have you ever wondered how great it would be to be the only child? No more hand me downs. No more being called everybody else's name before mom finally gets to the right name. No more "Sorry, your brother got the last piece." An only child... Sign in to see full entry.

Getting Lost #2
I think it those early years of my life I gave my parents many grey hairs. I was five years old the second time I got lost. I was supposed to walk home from kindergarten alone. My dad walked me to school that morning. I remember that long walk up the street then up the hill and passing what we... Sign in to see full entry.

I had no idea then that they would. I met her my freshman year in high school. She and I became good... Sign in to see full entry.

Loss of a Friend
How does one cope with the loss of a friend? This friend didn't die. She is still alive and kicking. The problem is that she is schizophrenic. Over the years she has been given so many diagnoses and wrong medication. Now they tell her she is schizophrenic. She believes that her life is a movie much... Sign in to see full entry.

The Day I Ran Away from Home
I was quite the daddy's little girl. I followed him all around the house. He left one day to go to Chicago to look for work. I wasn't used to being away from him. I asked my mom in which direction was Chicago. She pointed to the north - up the street. Well me being the hard headed daddy doting... Sign in to see full entry.

Lady
We are six young children all so close in age that I don't know how my mom manages to keep her sanity. A few of the things that help her are many kids in the neighborhood, a very huge backyard and a family pet named Lady. She is a gift from the people who live across the street. She is an awesome... You Need to Go for Another Mammogram...
I was reading someone else's blog about a mammogram and it brought back memories of when I went for my first mammograms about 16 years ago. I didn't really know what to expect. I arrived early for the mammogram. I had paperwork to fill out not to mention changing clothes into one of those dinky... Sign in to see full entry.
