A Funny Thing Happened...

Took a service in our smallest church today.There was a stranger in church, who was very obvious since the normal congregation numbers around nine. Art And Flowers

One of our churches has a two-day art and flower event, so I've spent the whole day there and have to go back this evening for a concert. The church looks amazing. Visitng The Housebound

Visiting the elderly (most of whom are housebound, else why would I need to visit?) is an interesting experience. A Circular Rainbow

As I cycled the two miles down the road to last night's PCC meeting, I saw an almost circuar rainbow. Just the bottom arc was missing. Meditation Masterclass

Took a Meditation Masterclass today. Have to admit that's not an entirely accurate description since I'm no master at meditation. Chapter

Had a Chapter Meeting this morning, in the next town. It's just a little town which doubles as a village when it feels like it, such as in the 'Best Kept Village' competition, which it has been known to win. Decided to attend the 9.30 am service today at the local church. When I say 'local', it's actually about a mile and a half away, so hardly comfortable walking distance. A Jesus Joke

Threw the birthday cards away today, thought they'd been up long enough. But must tell you about the best one. It had a joke about Jesus which is one of the funniest I've heard. Hot And Steamy

Last night was hot and steamy (no, the weather! What did you think I meant?) which made it difficult for sleeping.
