Obama Medicare Coverage Glitch The phone rings and the lady of the house answers, 'Hello.' 'Mrs. Sanders, please.' 'Speaking.' 'Mrs. Sanders, this is Doctor Jones at Saint Agnes Laboratory. When your husband's doctor sent his biopsy to the lab last week, a biopsy from another Mr. Sanders arrived as well. We are now uncertain which one belongs to your husband. Frankly, either way, the results are not too good.' 'What do you mean?' Mrs. Sanders asked nervously. 'Well, one of the specimens tested... Sign in to see full entry.

Current events inspired these two thoughts. I have no idea WHY, though.
Yesterday’s numerical expression of the date was repeatedly pointed out to be 9-9-9. I guess that since the zero equals nothing, it was discarded. Anyway, upon returning to work after running my route yesterday, I mentioned that when I heard someone say 9-9-9, it reminded me of Gretta Gutteral, a buxom foreign exchange student from Germany. We dated briefly in high school, I confided to my coworkers. I got a chuckle out of those who were listening, when I said, “Yeah, Gretta had some kind of an... Sign in to see full entry.

When having the worlds most prefect breasts really, REALLY, BITES!
Perfect breasts. A little old Italian man (5'3''tall) is walking down the street one afternoon when he spots a woman with a pair of perfect breasts. He says to her, "Pardon me miss, would you let me bite your breasts for $100?" "Are you nuts?!!!" she replies, and starts walking away. He turns around, runs around the block and gets to the corner before she does. "Would you let me bite your breasts for $ 1,000 dollars?" he asks again. "Listen you pervert, I'm not that kind of woman! Got it?" So... Sign in to see full entry.

"Future Shock," only in retrospective. RETRO SHOCK? I'm SO confused!
I hate to admit it, but I was self-aware, self-absorbed, self-satisfied, self-confident, self-motivated, (to do exactly whatever caught my interest, and seemed like a good idea, at the time, and nothing else,) exactly like the tweenagers of today, In 1955. I remember hearing or saying each of these comments, personally! After all these years, you may think that these are exagerations, but this is only because you weren't there. Feel free to laugh, it will show the world that you aren't a coot... Sign in to see full entry.
Maybe, it's Not what you know, it's really Who you know, after all!
WHO IS JACK SCHITT??? For some time many of us have wondered just who is Jack Schitt? We find ourselves at a loss when someone says, 'You don't know Jack Schitt!' Well, thanks to my genealogy efforts, you can now respond in an intellectual way. Jack Schitt is the only son of Awe Schitt. Awe Schitt, the fertilizer magnate, married O. Schitt, the owner of Needeep N. Schitt, Inc. They had >one son, Jack. In turn, Jack Schitt married Noe Schitt. The deeply religious couple produced six children:... Sign in to see full entry.

Labor Day vacation is halfway over! YIPPEE! Happy, happy, joy, joy!
When I was still a young sage, I used to wonder why “ Labor Day ” vacation is called by that name. No more. Halfway through this one, I have cut acres of lawn, visited my mom and cut into pieces, loaded, hauled and un loaded three cords of oak firewood, back home with me. I charged up batteries, fixed flat tires, cooked meals, hand carried water to three remote gardens, cut down all but the two most robust male plants, ( about half my crop culled, SOB! ) put white bags over the two remaining... Bits and pieces. Rambling thoughts from the "Sage of the North."
In the wee small hours of yesterday morning, I heard one of the talking heads on CNN say that, “The mean age of American nurses is, 45 years old.” Given my peculiar bent of mind, I immediately wondered what the average age of mean American nurses is. Probably older. With my luck, I'd get the mean one. A couple days ago, I told another talented blogger, that as I began the day at work yesterday, I asked a coworker, “You know those dead, road-killed raccoons we pass each day, the ones that are all... I need six more reads, to reach another milestone, & in ONLY 30 months!
Six more, and I will have surpassed the number 4,000, and will be able to tell myself, (and anyone who should happen to ask) that stuff that I have written has been read by my fellow bloggers THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of times. I won't tell anyone that 4,000 reads earns a blogger a measly, $63.00, Crass mention of things like money, kinda deflates my sense of self-importance, which is a major motivation and purpose of my writing. I know, it's self-delusion, ( Delusions of adequacy ) but they're MY... Sign in to see full entry.

I remember Harry Truman. Today's politicians are NO Harry Truman!
My boss sent me this. She's pretty smart, TOO! Guy Harry Truman, farmer, judge, senator, and eventually President of the United States (1945-53). Harry Truman was a different kind of President. He probably made as many important decisions regarding our nation's history as any of the other 42 Presidents. However, a measure of his greatness may rest on what he did after he left the White House. The only asset he had when he died was the house he lived in, which was in Independence Missouri. His... Our final, peaceful days & nites, free of the presence of 2 spoiled BRATS!
Sometime this weekend, Ivy and DJ are coming back to Michigan, from summer vacation, in Georgia!................Sorry, for a little while there, I couldn't focus my eyes, or control my breathing and hammering pulse rate. As I learned in CPR class, I quickly chewed four aspirins and began driving towards the hospital. This is what one of the EMT's confided that HE would do, if he suspected that HE was having a stroke. I think that I must have hyperventilated, any easy mistake to make. Anyway,... Sign in to see full entry.
