Will no one pay for honest work any more?

Assessment is no longer worth a dime. I teach at one college for five hours a week which involves a good few hours of preparation not to mention dealing with student inquiries. I am possessive about apostrophes. Which sentence is correct? Shockingly, to me at least, many people can't work out the difference.
