People are quick to believe national stereotypes

Have you ever noticed how if someone criticizes a nationality how soon the target group responds in kind? Why is it that poor behavior brings out the worst in others? When is $500 too little for an article?

I write for next to nothing--on this site. Why? I vent and socialize (I try) and it is completely separate to my writing work.
