My son is in Honduras now

I woke up at 6:00 and by 6:30 made breakfast for Greg. Now it's 8:00 and I am really tired already. Today is Gideon's birthday. I am going to make him a cake later on. Judah, my son, called on skype last night. He was in Honduras. It was hard to hear him, as the connection was bad, but it was really good to hear his voice and know he is OK. My sons' experience in Guatemala

This morning I went to the Chevron station for coffee with my husband. I got a double shot vanilla latte'. It was pretty good. We were sitting there and a lot of stuff was coming on the TV about the swine flu thing. My son had been in Mexico and is on his way to Costa Rica right now. I'm not worried about him, as I know he is in God's hands. He made it safely to Guatemala. He and his friend were going to sleep in the park. Work and prayer needed

Today I needed to go to the doctor offices I clean to clean up after their construction. I didn't work Tue- Friday there this week. It was a real mess! I woke up with a stiff neck and kept putting off going in. My 9 year old daughter came and helped, which was a blessing. She is a really good cleaner. I don't think I could have done it without her. It took us both almost 3 hours to do the work. Now it all looks nice and clean again. There will be more construction (down the hallway) on Monday... Sign in to see full entry.

Easy come, easy go

I have a few minutes, then my 14 year old son and I are going to the insurance agency to clean their offices. To be honest my day wasn't that great. I am embarrassed to say that I spent a lot of it making phone calls (on our daytime minutes) because I got this thing in the mail that said I won a free cruise. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
