Lazy Day

I guess it's goodnight to everyone. I spent a lot of time on the computer today. It was sunny and cold. I didn't get as much done as I wanted though. The lady I used to clean for called today and wants me to come back. It will keep me busy. She is a really nice elderly lady, and I enjoy visiting with her too. I cannot seem to get the links to work. I have before, but they do not work most of the time. Any advice?? I got a nice e-mail from a blogger today that encouraged me. I was down today,... Skeeter and my 10 mile ride

When I was about 16, at the end of the summer I decided I was going to ride my horse Skeeter to P.R., a town about 10 miles away from our ranch if you went on the back roads. It was about 90 degrees F. that day and there were no clouds in the sky. I had a small round yellow radio that I strapped on my saddle horn. At first Skeeter was scared, but after awhile he got used to it. I remember wearing a tank top and shorts. I did get quite a sunburn by evening. When I came into town, I passed by the... Spring Cleaning

It's starting to be pattern. One day I get up real early, then the next day I sleep in. I'm not going to worry about it though. Today I got up late. I've been starting to get a cold also, which is not nice. I'm taking a lot of Vitamin C. Today I must go in our storage room and go through it. I need to organize it and make it accessible to actually use. Then I need to clean our tiny bedroom. I guess it's called spring cleaning. I do not want to do this, but I need to for my own peace. A long nap and full day

Since I had a 3 hour nap I am staying up late. I had gotten up at 6:00, which is not my norm. When I was at the Athletic Club, I received a nice hooded sweat shirt for winning the free throw in basketball for my age group. It is still embarrassing to say I won by making 5 out of 25 baskets. I don't think there were any women over 50 that participated. I am still happy to have the sweatshirt! But, by the time I got home from exercising with my daughters, I was so tired. What I believe (some anyway)

This is actually a response to Xeno-x to the question, "This is the most important question for all christians" in her blog. I do not know all the answers about who is and who is not going to heaven. I believe God is just. He is not going to look at a person's denomination. I do believe that we will be judged by what we do know and not by what we do not. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
