Born again

I got up at 6:00. Cleaning offices went well and my back feels better today. Susannah's off to a church camp. Petra and Clemy are weeding in the garden. This morning I found 3 big zucchini's there, 2 tomatoes and some cherry tomatoes. The jalepenos are about big enough to harvest also. Petra wants to make zucchini bread today. Greg is up on the roof, tearing off all the old shingles and is going to put on some metal roofing he has. I'm glad he has a harness and rope on him so he doesn't fall... Sign in to see full entry.

Speaker at Church

The day has closed. We had a special speaker at church. He had an experience he shared, as he had clinically died in a hospital. But he was resuscitated and came back. His message this morning was what he saw when his spirit left his body at that time. Basically God told him his faith was dead and he needed a living faith. Then a lot of stuff about the end times and spiritual warfare, which he will be sharing tomorrow night. I plan on going again, as what he is sharing goes right along with the... Another possible trip to Mexico...

I ended up helping to clean the bank offices. I wasn't going to, but I decided to do the easy stuff. I did all the dusting, Greg - the bathrooms and entry doors, Petra - the dust mopping and mopping, Levi - the trash cans and Gideon all the vacuuming. After awhile I noticed my back wasn't hurting as much. Then I remembered, I had taken 2 Ibuprofen an hour before. I think I will take some tonight so I can sleep. Still in pain

I made it through the night, but my back hurt if I even moved an inch. I put heat on it and that helped. This morning I got up fairly early and it hurt less walking around. I am so thankful that Greg and the boys are cleaning the insurance offices. Then my eldest daughter, Greg, and the boys will clean the bank. I am going to supervise. I'll be reading a book in the break room most of the time. It's possible in a month or so Greg will take the boys to Mexico, to the deaf school to help with... Sign in to see full entry.

Help with work

My eldest daughter helped me with the 2 houses I clean. My back still hurts a lot, so I've decided to wait until Saturday to clean the bank. Greg and the boys will clean the insurance office tomorrow. If I'm up to it, I'll help with the bank, along with all the other children, so we should get it done in 2 hours or less. No more deep cleaning there until my back feels better. Levi and Gideon are at the skate park and will be competing in some events. Greg is there watching them. I hope he gets... About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
