I need a new battery

I don't know why I've been so tired. I got up at 6:00 a.m. and took 2 naps today. It seems my batteries need replacing or something. I've been eating fresh blueberries, nectarines and cucumbers. Now we're out of the blueberries and nectarines:( Greg and the boys are still working on the roof. I don't know how much longer they have before they are finished. Idaho Coffee

One time we were traveling to Idaho to visit some friends. I was very tired and wanted to get some coffee before we got there. So, we stopped at a restaurant and their coffee was really weak. Later, I asked Greg if we could stop at this little espresso place. We did, and their espresso wasn't even as strong as regular coffee. I had them put an extra shot in it for me. Because of this experience we make jokes about "Idaho Coffee". In reality, almost every restaurant serves rather weak coffee. In... Sign in to see full entry.

Visiting a "forever" friend

I had a wonderful day. First I went to church in the a.m. The message was on how David strengthened himself in the Lord and how we also can do that when we are having troubles. Later, there was a potluck, swim party and baptism at the pastors' house. I took the childs' size plate so I wouldn't eat as much! It was only about 83 today, so the kids swam in an ice cold pool. Long Lost Friend

Just got home. First I cleaned the insurance office by myself. That took about 2 hours. After that I went home for awhile. Greg and the boys still had some work to do on the roof, so my 3 daughters and I cleaned the bank together. Last week it took (all of us) a total of 6 hours and 15 minutes, even though we were only there about 2 hours. This week it took us 6 hours. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
