A new driver in the house.

My daughter got her drivers licence today. She's pretty happy about it. After I got home from cleaning this morning I had an easy day. I'm starting to enjoy cleaning in the mornings, even though it is still hard to get up at 6:00 or even 6:30. Today I took lunch to Greg, who is working with a tree service. I clean house for the same couple. When I got there Greg was in the top of a very tall tree, cutting branches off. Later, when he was finished it looked like a totem pole. Levi helped with the... Family and Friends

The family reunion went well. There were old aunts and young nieces and nephews and some cousins too. The weather was great. After we got our tent set up, 4 families we did not know set their camp up right by my tent. I don't know what they were thinking, but I wasn't too happy about it. After awhile I walked around and found a nicer place that was more secluded and by the river. So, my boys helped move the tent for me. We did a "bank job" last night!

The "bank job" (cleaning) that we did last night took us 10 hours. We were there for 4 hours, but my 2 sons worked 3 hours each. I could not believe how dirty it was. No wonder they wanted a new cleaning team. One of the complaints with the other cleaners that the managers didn't think they were even mopping the front area. It is an old ceramic tile that is stained. It didn't look much better when we were done. I'll try to find a way we can clean it better. Maybe we'll have to rent something to... When is gossip - gossip?

The other day I was visiting with my sister. She is a waitress and was telling me about another waitress that seemed to get all the great tables and tips. After different stories, it was apparent that this girl was being favored and being unfair to the other waitresses. It is something my sister has to deal with daily. She is trying to just let it go, as she can do nothing about it....I just deleted what I wrote after the first paragraph... Why? Because I was telling of a situation I had gone... Cool weather again.

This a.m. we all had breakfast around the table. Blueberry pancakes! After doing that survey I realized that we don't eat every meal together. Usually supper, but not always. Lunch can be a free for all. It was a good time together. We spent a little time praying together. Last night I cleaned at the doctors' house for 1 1/2 hours. They have a really nice house, with Mexican tile and a sun room. I didn't get to see all of it, but it's very nice. It's also very lived in as they have 2 children.... Sign in to see full entry.

About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
