Cleaning the old Junior High (now it's government offices)

I only have a few minutes to blog. I think I'm addicted! Anyway, I woke up feeling 90 years old, but now, feel better. I ended up having to work 6 hours cleaning the large building across the street. I had forgotten some offices (that were locked) on Monday. I had the key, but because it "didn't work," I assumed that I wasn't supposed to clean them. They called the owners to complain that their offices hadn't been cleaned. That humbled me and I needed to apologize. I was so happy to get Tuesday... Sign in to see full entry.

Family business

This is my only chance today to blog. I have a few minutes. I do still have the job across the street (at least tonight) and have to be there in an hour. My daughter-in-law and daughter have made a nice supper. Tonight while visiting some good friends, my son found out he might do janitorial for his restaurant 2 hours a night, along with the new census job he just got. A good book...

I am not sure I will be working the night job anymore. The other janitor came back for 2 days and is working, which is fine with me. I won't know till tomorrow. I'm pretty sure the owner of the building doesn't want to pay what we requested on a permanent basis. He did give me my paycheck yesterday, which I'm happy about. My grandson is sitting on my lap right now. It's taken him a while to warm up to me, but we are getting a long pretty good lately. He's 18 months old. I took a 3 hour nap... Work and news from Mexico

I got up at 6:00 and worked from 6:30-8:30. Then I went to another computer place for an estimate. He said I should just order the cord myself. Then... I asked him if they need a janitor? They may once a week or every other week. I got paid (what I wanted) from the man who owns the buildings across the street. But, he told me that "Cindy" would be back tonight. Rest and Work

I need to get to bed soon, but I want to write a little first. Today went well. In the morning went to church with Susannah. I really enjoyed being in the worship service. There was special prayer for anyone who wanted to come up to the front. A lot of people did, including me. The message was basically on how to stay out of debt during the Christmas season. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
