Still walking... in my new boots.

I feel much better today. I've had a cold the last few days, so I've not felt great. Last night I took vitamin-C, grapefruit seed extract and garlic capsules. I got up at 6:00 and left at 6:10. That was the quickest I've ever gotten ready, but I wanted a ride to work, so had to be fast. It was a good thing I got there early, because when I got there I remembered I had a lot of extra dusting to do up high, on the window sills and window frames. Walking in the ice and slushy snow

This has been a very long day. Last night when I got home from work, I had a lot to do before bed. Then I couldn't sleep because I was so tired. I prayed that God would help me get good rest. Then, this morning I got up at 6:00, made some coffee and walked to work at 6:30. The coffee was too strong and bitter, so I dumped it. "Maybe it's Dengue Fever"

It was almost up to 40 degrees F. today, so the snow got slushy today. Now the roads might be icy, as it is colder. I had a day of errands and other mental obstacles to overcome. I was going to drive Greg's work van, but when I turned the key it just clicked. No battery now. I don't understand. I might have someone check it out tomorrow. What is Kitty Litter good for?

Had a very nice day. It's all white and pretty out! Church was really nice today. Afterwards, met some ladies at the restaurant that our friend owns. We had a really good time visiting. When I got home, shoveled the walkways. Then, I went for a walk and took snow pictures on my daughter-in-law's camera, which is better than mine. First snow of the year!

When I woke up there was a white world outside! It's very pretty and has warmed up. I think the road near us, on the hill will be sanded well. Last year it always was. When my eldest son returns from a job just out of town, he is going to help me and Susi clean the bank and insurance agency. Then... I have no work until Monday night! We are going to a movie tonight. I'm thinking about putting all the crafts I made that didn't sell back on Etsy. Maybe someone will want them for a Christmas gift.... Sign in to see full entry.

About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
