Work and recreation

Today went quite well. I woke up to answer the phone. My grandson (age 18 months) was on the line. He talked to me in baby talk for about 5 minutes. Finally my son got on and said, "Yeah, he was fussy and we had to think of something to help him get over it." After that I went to the coffee shop for about an hour and worked on my novel. Talking with "Bob"

I had a very nice Thanksgiving Day. Susannah and I spent the late afternoon-evening with some friends that live in the country. Maria is hispanic and her husband is white. Her English is much better than last year and my Spanish is much worse than last year. We talked in English. She is a very good cook, everything looked like it came out of a womens' magazine. How the new job went

As it is very late (1:00 a.m.) I won't be writing much. The job across the street did take more time than what they think it should. I worked a little over 5 1/2 hours. It won't take that long every night, as I did some extra cleaning that really needed done. I am a little OCD about cleaning, so if I can get everything as clean as I like it, then it won't take so long. The lady that was doing it before was working for wages. A few minutes to write

I have 2 minute to write. I trained again to clean the building across the street. I hope I can remember everything. I don't think it's a job we should take permanently, as I see too many troubles with it. I am going to write up a contract for the time I do work there so I get paid what we agreed upon. We are spending Thanksgiving with a friend and her husband and their girl. They live about 1/2 hour away in the country. We also will drop in on our other friends for a few minutes. They had said... New job this week

I will write for 5 minutes. I trained at the old school building across the street (to clean it). It's now government offices. I was right about thinking no one could possibly clean it in 2 or 3 hours (like the owner said).The lady who does it now is really nice and I basically just watched her. She does the whole bottom floor every night and some of the rooms in the top 2 floors twice a week. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
