Made it through another day. I struggled all day emotionally with a lot of things. But now, things are starting to look better. Work went well, as it only took me 3 hours. I will be locking up the government buildings on Christmas eve, so the night watchman can leave town. I locked all the doors tonight, so he knew I could do it. (They have to be locked with a screwdriver, not with a key) The family will be home either Tuesday late or Wednesday morning. I'm hoping for Wednesday, as I have to get... Sign in to see full entry.
I appreciate all the recent kind comments on my last blog. I was having a hard day. All is well that ends well - the cliche that came to mind. I was able to talk to my daughter-in-law about it later. Last year it was about zero degrees out, but they still did it. The ones who portrayed Jesus on the cross each took 15 minute spaces. This year it looks like it will be... Sign in to see full entry.
I only have a minute to write, as it's so late. I am happy to say that the snow is melted. My newly married son and wife will be coming for Christmas. Also, my 19 year old single son, who wants to be called "Bob" also will be coming. And... my husband and 4 children who have been in Mexico will be coming home! It will be a happy time I'm sure and maybe a bit overwhelming. After Christmas, the following Monday, I will be taking "Bob" and perhaps my son and daughter-in-law back home, 5 hours away....
