Another birthday...

I'm pretty sure I won't have time to write later, so, now is the time. Today is Levi's 18th birthday. We are planning a special meal for him. Our oldest son and daughter in law are also coming over to celebrate with us. The weather has been quite cool and windy. Next week will be my grandson's 2nd birthday... Recent happenings...

I enjoyed the weekend. My 3rd son came over with his wife. On Saturday, after we were done cleaning, in the evening we had dinner together. Our oldest son and his wife and almost 2 year old were here too. It was a blessing. My 3rd son found an old VW pickup for cheap. It didn't run, but he will be using it for parts for his VW pickup. The canopy and tires are worth more than he paid for it. A blessing for him. I have all kinds of ideas in my mind for a funny random movie. I didn't do the "script... Sign in to see full entry.

A new housecleaning job and maybe... another horse!

I'll never get an extra moment till maybe Monday, and then I won't either, so I'll write now when I don't have time. I have a new house cleaning job that will probably be once a week. It is for a friend. I enjoyed cleaning her house this morning and also visiting with her. Then... she told me about another horse that a friend of hers wants to give away, as they are moving! All is well

All is well. The day was not without struggles, but there is victory! I started spring cleaning. It was not my idea, but something that was needed. Our motor home is being used for storage right now. The bed was piled with stuff needing sorting, giving away and tossing. I was able to throw away a bag and the other bag will go to recycle and the thrift store. It was only a start, but the mattress is ready to be taken out. My son and daughter-in-law need to use it for company. Greg just got home... Sign in to see full entry.

Birthdays and trivia...

It is birthday season at our house. One of our son's turned 15 today. We had a small birthday party, with apple pie, pumpkin pie and ice cream. Our older son and daughter-in-law and grandson also came over. It was nice to all be together. Next week one son will be turning 18. (Last week one son turned 20). My grandson's is May 11th. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
