Mexico trip ... a possibility...

Tonight I am going to leave my window open so I can hear the rain. Much nicer than the sound machine I usually listen to. I have decided not to get the horse. It was getting complicated. It was something that could have happened, but I realized that this horse was going to take more care and attention than I could give it. One minute to write

I've been too busy to write. I'm hoping to have a little time tomorrow. We've had at least 5 really warm days and one thundershower. The sunshine really lifts my spirits. The Hispanic service on Sunday evening went pretty well. "Brent" shared the message, "God is good" and my husband translated it into English. I think everyone there knew English, but several who came want to learn Spanish, so most of the songs were in Spanish. God is good and I hope to be back tomorrow. Sign in to see full entry.

Wishing I had more time to write, but here's what happened today...

I Had a busy day cleaning. I found out Wednesday evening we got terminated from cleaning at the doctors' office. That really upset me, as we have had that account for over a year. Because they cut our days from 4 to 1 we asked for a raise, as it was taking me twice as long to get it clean. I guess they didn't want to give us one. Tomorrow I clean one house in a little town about 1/2 hour away. Then I hope to get back to help out at the church where they are having "Hope Saturday". They are... Sign in to see full entry.

A good start for the day.

I started the day right. I spent some time in prayer and read my Bible. Then I made a long list. I didn't get everything done on it, but much. We had a nice supper together and now it's bed time! One blessing was that our pastor came over. We loaned him a book about headaches. He has been getting migraines and he said the book was very helpful. Have to go.... bye. Sign in to see full entry.

Loving the truth...

I had a restful, peaceful day. I ended up staying home, reading and checking my e-mail... We had a special speaker at church this morning and evening. He was a breath of fresh air and told about his ministries with rescuing children. They have 5 safe houses and save children who are in danger of sex trafficking and some other dangers. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
