A new day beginning...

I feel very achy today. It is probably the weather causing this. We had a lot of rain and it cooled down from about 85 to under 60. It's supposed to get up to 70 today though. I am meeting a potential housecleaning customer today. I need to start a schedule and list so I can see where to fit her in. Temporarily I have changed my poetry blog to music, as I have not been able to write any poems lately. Two new jobs in one day!

I actually had a pretty relaxing day. In the morning I corrected about 10 math lessons for Susannah. Her correcting book was lost about a month ago, but I still had her do math each day so she wouldn't get behind. She did miss some on each lesson, but I'll have her do re-dos when I am finished correcting everything. I HAD to go to Wall mart to find a blouse and some shoes for a wedding Clemy will be attending this weekend. They are doing a major remodel and changing the store completely around.... My son will be going to Mexico instead of me!

I'm too tired (exhausted) to write much. All those nights I stayed up too late are catching up with me. Today I attempted to do a little spring cleaning. Actually, it was sorting clothes out of our motor home, which has a lot of storage in it. I have 3 more bags to take to the thrift store. We had a good rain today. Everything is green and pretty right now and my irises are blooming. My 18 year old son decided to go to Mexico for a month to help his sister at the deaf school. It was unreal how... Voting

We have been going over the candidates so we can get our vote in on time. Levi is 18 this year, so is going to use his right to vote. I still do not understand it when I meet people who believe we should stay out of "politics" by voting, as we are not of this world. I am a Christian, but do not think this approach helps our country at all. But everyone has their right to vote or not to vote. If we were forced to vote that would not be good either. New friends...

I ended up taking a 2 hour nap today, which was good. That's because I stayed up late watching a movie and blogging and making 2 pies last night! Today after church there was an auction to help raise money for the Kids' summer Bible camp. Everything was sold for a high price, as everyone knew the money was for a good cause. Hispanic service went well. Afterwards we had a young couple, originally from Honduras come to our home. I made little tacos with corn tortillas and salsa. I also stuffed... About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
