Wandering mind and wandering blog...

OK, it's late, but I want to write for a minute at least. My 10 year old daughter watched "The Ultimate Gift" tonight. I saw it about a year ago. It is a great movie. Only it is pretty sad, especially since the little girl is a spitting image of my daughter! She doesn't like me to say it, but she really does look like her. My husband and sons' went camping and fishing tonight. He sent a text and they caught 9 fish and are roasting them over the fire. I did clean this morning at one house. Before... Another day, another dollar... and Hot weather!

I had another day of cleaning, only today it was 2 houses. At the first house she needed me to clean the patio and around the pool. So, I got a little sunshine and 2 extra hours of work. Then, I cleaned a little in her house and practiced my window washing skills. Later I helped the elderly lady with her laundry and vacuumed her house. Now I am home resting. I need to mix my cleaning solutions for tomorrow. I think I'll do it in the morning. The thermometer said 90 degrees today. I think it was... Sign in to see full entry.

Temptations

I am really tired, not sleepy, but my feet hurt and muscles. This morning I cleaned for a friend, only 1 1/2 hours, but it felt like 3. I scrubbed the shower walls and tub about 3 times. Then this afternoon I cleaned, the last time, at the doctors' office. It was quite difficult for me, as it was the first janitorial job we got and the first one that "terminated" us. Praying for our communities...

I had a very relaxing day. I was going to clean house for a friend in the morning, but she canceled. I was rather glad. Now, I will go in the morning for a couple of hours instead. Tonight there was a prayer meeting at church. It was quite good. I started praying for my hometown about 15 years ago and never thought I would ever live there again. The peace of God

I had wanted to go to Mexico again this year. Finally, it came down to this: we had to make a decision as my daughter and her friend needed to start looking for plane tickets if I didn't drive to get them. It would be a costly trip I knew, but it looked like I could go. Greg and I talked about it and he said I could. So... I called my daughters' mom who needed to know soon. I told her I was coming. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
