This was a reply to a comment for my last post, but I realized it would work as such a perfect post on its own. And it is a good follow up to other posts of mine. I believe that there is nothing after we die. If any member of my family dies, I will never see them again. I can live with this because... Sign in to see full entry.
Finding all I need around me
Being an atheist I have been told I can not have any kind of spritual side and that I must lack faith of any kind. All in all that is way, way wrong. I have a very strong spritual side and a lot of faith. I know what is important in life. It all comes down to the simple idea that one must make sure... Sign in to see full entry.
Addicted to God
Now I have tried to explain here many times that I have no problem with everyone having their beliefs and such. Beliefs are a very healthy thing in fact. The problem comes from those people who take their beliefs too far. This is commonly taken to the point where ti is an addiction rather than just... Sign in to see full entry.

Let's clarify things a little here, revisited
I thought I was done for the night, but some newer posts here made it so I felt I needed to bring this post back to the front. 'I wish to remind people that the title of this Blog is Why I don't like organized religion. I have tried to make sure that my posts follow that theme. I have seen some... Sign in to see full entry.
Do or do not, there is no prayer
I have talked about people praying instead of doing and today one of my co-workers proved my point. He had been talking about all the problems he has been having with his ex (Girlfriend, not wife although they did have a kid together and he is a Christian even) and how she uses him whenever she... Those poor, poor Christians, revisited
Originally I was not going to repost this one, but having read a recent post by Inkwell, I felt it needed to be seen again. "Why do the Christians seem to want everyone to think they are always victims? Go a read a lot of the Blogs out there written by Christians. Most of them seem to want to paint... I don't need an excuse to be nice to others, revisited
"It does seem that a lot of people who go to church believe that you need to be kind to others because that is what Jesus says to do. Funny thing is that I enjoy being kind to others because it feels good. So the question is, how many people are only being kind to others because they are afraid of... Sign in to see full entry.
Atheism, a growing darkness?
I think not. Yet this seems to be a belief many theists have. to them the idea of atheist is horrible for the simple fact that an Atheist does not believe in God. Somehow this is the ultimate sin to them. Nothing could be worse. Now what are the chances you can tell an atheist from a theist without... Sign in to see full entry.
Who he prays the hardest wins the race? Revisited
I got a lot going on today, so I am not sure if I iwll ahve time to do a new post at all. But I can always do a revisit to give some of you an idea of my past posts. This one was orgianlly written on November 16, 2003 "I forget who did the Blog, but someone today started talking about how everyone... Sign in to see full entry.

Do you practice what you preach?
I have known many Christian who claimed they believed, but when it came down to it they did nothing to show they believed. I had a friend who was a big time pot head and also claimed to be a good Catholic. He also had an open marriage, which led to some problems. He believed because of his family....
