15 days since social security approval still no money. I'm a wreck. Got my pension today but most of that will have to go for rent. All my bills are behind. Mom sent me another check. I think she likes helping me. I won't need it much longer. I'm getting all kinds of conflicting information about when I'll get my social security money but the best bet seems to be late August. Had a pretty good time at lunch an bowling yesterday. I want to start doing more with first place. Some things i don't go to because i don't feel like driving that far. Gotta get over that. Stayed in the A/C most of the day. Had to bundle up when I finally went out, it's down to 102 degrees. Dinner and movie with first place tonight that should be fun. Went to surprize Anita at work today. She didn't have time for lunch but we had a nice visit, including our first kiss. Actually our first three kisses. She's a fabulous kisser. Feeling better today, got caught up on my sleep. Got a letter from the Department of Rehabilitation services. They're having an orientation on August 4. Sheesh even after approving me Social Security is still screwing me. Turns out my lump sum will be lower because they don't count the first five months of your disability. Guess they need the money to give the zillionaires their tax breaks. They also said it would take 30-90 days to get paid. WTF.... Sign in to see full entry.

Disability finally got approved. What a relief. Took a lawyer, and a U.S senator to get it done. Nice visit with Mom. We did a lot of stuff boardwalk, beach ect. I done did it Got the refund from the excalibur. Proved almost everyone wrong including Lisa, my parents and my therapist. They all said I wouldn't get my money back.
