Empire building!

Empire building! Well I’m putting together a set of pages that should give me a return on a number of blog pages. It relies on posting up several blogs, getting traffic for those blogs and getting click-throughs for affiliate pages. So it’s a long shot. Can it be done? Well if you believe the hype, it can. Up for Sale!

Well I’ve put the shop up for sale on Ebay. I’ve pitched it at £120 to start with, as this would at least give me my money back for setting it up. I have seen them go for around 200, so finger crossed. Trying not to think about the importance of this, as it could spell my release from the supermarket. So let’s hope it comes off. Money Blogs

I’ve been looking around at a few blog sites which might pay you for adding copy. Remember this is based on providing a hell of a lot of content. To the extent that I can’t believe people can write that much stuff in a day. So they must cheat in some way. Either copy it off others or just resubmit the same thing over and over. Which ever way, they claim to make a tidy income from it. My web site shop project is going well, although I will wait for my day off before I submit it to Ebay. The hope... Rain on me!

Rain on me! The rain is beating down here, and looks likely to continue for the rest of the bank holiday. What should I worry? I’ve got to go to work in 20 minutes! Been looking again at some paying blog sites. Blogfeast etc. They pay about as well as this one, but if you blitz the pages with stuff, you stand a chance of getting something back. Traffic Swarm

Traffic Swarm I have attracted almost 700 people to the site since I began using traffic clicking sites. These are just sites where you look at their sites and they look at yours. They do not really study your site, they just wait 10 seconds then click onto the next. So if you want people to read the site and inspire them to buy something which will earn a lot of commission, forget it. It is just there to make the click counter go up and up. Traffic!

Traffic! In a desperate attempt to get people to visit my new site, I’ve turned to traffic swarming the URL. This basically means endless clicking on a referral link, while a counter clicks round. You might be thinking: Sad Bastard! But the funny thing is that I’ve just looked at the site and the hit counter is going up. Now this might be spiders crawling it for a ranking, as I’ve just posted an Adsense link on it. But something is happening. I’ll check the Cpanel tomorrow to see if any of those... Spies in the sky!

Spies in the sky! The Police in the UK have launched a flying spy plane to spot criminals. http://www.channel4.com/news/articles/science_technology/uk+spycopter+takes+to+the+skies/524042 All well and good, but for the fact that even when they catch them, the prison population standing at over 80,000 and cannot cope. Net Objects Fusion

I am firm believer in Dreamweaver as a web tool. Sadly I can get no where in setting up an internet shop. In data base and shopping cart. PHP and MySql is so complicated you cannot stuff a few lessons into some snatched hours and hope for the best. Ironically I have another tool called Net Objects fusion which came free with my Web host tools. Web sites for sale?

The web site bestdvdprices.com is up and running. So why do I feel as if I’m not doing enough to sell it? The main reason is that I need to talk more with the writers on the other end. I have had little to do with the PHP and MySql side of things, and would be of no use anyway. I’m in their hands, and of course won’t be able to talk to them until they are back at work, next week. Drop shipping! Well the site is up and running: www.bestdvdpricex.com is the place where people can buy the goods. I don’t think for one minute you can make a fortune from it, but some one might make a living if they thrash it enough. Which brings me to the next stage. It has to have a whole host of links stitched onto it, to look like it’s punching above its weight. Google Adsense, affiliates, and web rings are all in the pipeline.
