Copyright Protection Questions
What gives Shaycom the right to post Copyright by Shaycom on every page that I write? How do I explain to the Copyright Office that Shaycom does not own the copyright to what I have written. Shaycom pays us approximately a half of a penny for every page that is read here. Now, I say that I pay Shaycom to publish my work, not the other way around--but doesn't Shaycom's incentives muddy the copyright waters when I go to copyright my own writings which I had posted here?
Also, the current Conditions and Terms of Usage for this network say that BN can't protect us from anybody making derivative works from our writings, especially if BN gets bought out. So what good is it for Shaycom to claim copyright on my works. It's not protecting me from anything, by your own Terms and Conditions Statements.
Also, your terms say that BN can change the Terms and Conditions at will, that as long as we continue to post here, this means that we agree to all conditions and terms, no matter how they are changed, or when, by BN. This implies that we must read them every day and have a copyright lawyer in the family in order to protect our rights to our own copyrightable materials, no? I have read the 10 Myths piece and can't be sure it's correct, either, but assuming it is correct, it still doesn't tell me why I should allow BN to put their own copyright notice on my works. It also doesn't remove the muddy waters which their incentives create regarding who's hiring whom.
Subscription question
This is somewhat similar to a question that has already been asked, but I wanted the answer anyway.
I'm an annual member - I pay the annual fee rather than the monthly fee. My expiration date, if you want to call it that, is January 15. Or, rather, that's what it was. I have no idea whether or not you have been paid for another year; every time I access the Reader Account Summary, it refers to the month ending January 15.
Have you actually been paid? If so, why is my Reader Account Summary still saying something about the month ending January 15?

I don't suppose there is any way to get a blog back that was deleted??? Approx. 30-40 min ago in MY
COLUMN ABOUT NOTHING?
I saw 2 blogs. Didn't know why there were 2 of the same so I tried to delete one, but they both
disappeared.

Copyrights
I have an idea for a blog using quotes from people who inspire me. If I give the names of the people I am quoting could there be a problem with copyright infringement?
Thanks

Top Ten in the Last 7 days
When someone clicks a link in the list of Top Ten in the last 7 days the clicks are counted right? So doesn't that list give an unfair advantage to blogs that are already in the top ten by giving those blogs advertisement and exposure for 7 days?
Thanks

what web counters do you use?
fellow bloggers-please tell me what web counter you use
I would appreciate help . I would like to know what web counter you use.
I keep finding ones that have restrictions. They say they can't be used on a password
protected page. Is BN a password protected page? I asked this before but it wasn't really answered. Thanks.
