Hallo from Hopenhagen

Yesterday launching the publicity campaign for the United Nations Climate Change Conference, that will take place in Copenhagen from 7th – 18th December 2009, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon decided that Hopenhagen would be a better name for our capital city; I hope he is right.... Midsummer

Midsummer is a very special time in Denmark. It is the time of the year when we enjoy maximum day light; today the sun rose at 4.26 a.m. and will set again at 9.58 p.m. Tomorrow evening people will celebrate the midsummer festival of Sankt Hans by lighting bonfires on which they will burn effigies...
