Sorry, I forgot that many readers will find it is easier with farenheit; 86 farenheit = 30 centigrade (celsius). Here's a converter.

Re:
We have to pay for our plastic carrier bags in Danish supermarkets. If you for example shop three times a week and buy three bags @ 19 cents (U.S.A) you will 29,64 a year. So it pays to remember to bring your own shopping bags. However even in times of crisis people seem to buy a lot of carrier bags. Thanks for visiting

That was an amazing statistic on the temp for washing! Why don't more do this simple thing! I never use hot water when I wash! sam

Yes, my favorite saving tip, especially for my American friends: dispense with unnecessary air condition and plastic carrier bags. Wasted words, I'm afraid. Love the Hopenhagen though.

That's pretty interesting about washing in colder water. I never knew it would make that much of a difference. I have to see what that would be in Farenheit though.

Re:
Thanks for the good tip. Another idea is turning off the shower whilst you soap yourself in. Ark builders are going to make a fortune....

Uh-huh if we wait and see portions of your fellow countrymen will need to build either an ark or a health spa that would make it worst. In this way I support your appeal for little tips. On unimportant days take a sponge bath at the sink. Use a good soap. Take an extra towel. Place it on the floor to protect the floor. BCA, BillJRoost

I just heard that Copenhagen is the best city on earth -- no, the
second best, for people to live. A city in Switzerland got the #1 spot.

This is very timely and relevant; I love your links! Betty, I think I know why you found a different text under a post heading the other day....the same thing happened to me today when I was using IE (I usually use firefox)!! and it was the same post on salt! Thanks for telling me. IE sometimes plays tricks!

Re: Interesting.
That's interesting. Seems that Abel Tasman was Dutch.

The last link in the post is worth while passing on to your usual victims; it includes a very good and short video about saving CO2 by washing at 30 degrees.

Interesting.
Betty, I didn't know that Copenhagen was on a peninsula named Zealand. I'm from the country of NEW Zealand, which was named after an explorer named Tasman, Abel Tasman. Able Tasman was believed to have come from Zealand and when he discovered my home country, though it reminded him of his birth place - hence the name. Well, that's what my history teacher told me. Great post!
