Since it is Halloween, I have been watching some episodes of "Ghost Hunters" a reality type show from the Sci-Fi network. Each week the T.A.P.S. that is The Atlantic Paranormal Society members go out to investigate some supposedly haunted location. It is a really creepy show. Also I know that the show must be popular because "Saturday Night Live" did a take off on it last week. It was really funny. There are a lot of products that claim the are not tested on animals. My favorite hair conditioner has always made this claim. I'm not sure they can any more. You see I gave Bo, my dog, a bath the other day. Now as a general rule I bathe him outside in a big washtub. But it was really cold outside and the wind was blowing. The last time I gave a dog a bath when it was that cold I ended up getting pneumonia. That's something I don't want to do again! So I lured Bo into the bathtub for his bath.... It's curtains for you! That means you are in trouble. At least I think that is what it means. Whenever my mom would say it to me I knew I had done something I shouldn't have. OK Let's face it I usually knew exactly what I did. Of course there were times that I had done several things that maybe I shouldn't have. It was a tough wait to find out which one I was in trouble for. Usually it was for all of them. I was never very good at getting away with stuff. All my mom had to do was give me 'the... The headline said "5 million slated to install metal detectors and cameras in local schools." But just glancing at the headline I saw the word 'mental' instead of metal. Now if you think about it a mental detector would really help prevent school shootings a lot better than a metal detector ever will. A mental detector would tell you what a student was thinking. So if someone was thinking of doing some kind of violence they could be stopped. It would work well at airports because it would detect... Sign in to see full entry.

You might remember Bo. He's my Sheltie mix dog. Well, his tennis balls were all getting a little---ummm crunchy. He likes to chew on them. He gets them really wet and slimy. Sometimes he even drops his ball into his water dish. Then before he brings it to me to throw, he rolls it around in the dirt. Ewww...it was getting to the point where I needed rubber gloves to just touch the ball. Or at least something to wipe my muddy hands on. Of course when these slimy balls dried they were, crunchy. On October 7th there was a full moon. I went out to the grocery and happened to see it as it came up. Boy it's big when it first comes up over the horizon! Then it gets smaller as it goes up. After I put my groceries away I went outside to look at the full moon. Also there was supposed to be over 300 bright lights on the mountain to celebrate the 300th birthday of the city. I could only see about four of them from my back yard...and I think those four lights are always there. They are the TV... Sign in to see full entry.

Yeah, they are building a spaceport right here in NM. Richard Branson, the Virgin Mobile, Virgin Air etc. guy is building it. It is going to be called "Virgin Galactic"! They test fired a rocket a while ago. It crashed. I think they are still looking for it. That small detail hasn't stopped Branson from trying to sell 1.5 million dollar rides on rocket ships that haven't been built yet. It started with "The People's Court" with Judge Wapner, Rusty the bailiff and Doug Llewellyn the court reporter. That was on at least long enough for Wapner to make everyone dislike him for one reason or another. I never thought he was very fair. I seem to remember that Doug Llewllyn wore the same shirt through the entire run of that version of "The People's Court."
