Whacky....
I so much enjoyed this post of yours'. Bo, must have been very entertaining. I know just what you mean about the slimy ball. Uk! I go through the same thing with our Austin.

It sure must have been fun watching Bo.

Whacky, that's too cute!!
My Rottweiler sucks when it comes to tennis balls cause she chomps on them until they pop. Then, she eats it. As far as squeaky toys go, more power to ya. I can't stand the noise! But I love when they stalk and kill toys. Isn't that the funniest thing to watch? I guess you and I are both easily amuzed.

Pets are amazing -
I watch my moggy cat chase her tail - in the bath. She has plenty of toys that she doesn't play with, a all, but she'll spend hours chewing any magazines, books, or paper that is within kitty reach.

Pepper, my lab/pit mix, will bite a squeaky toy all over until she gets it to squeak. Then she walks around squeaking it. Bam-Bam just grabs them and runs from Pepper. They are funny to watch. I enjoyed reading this.

It is great fun watching dogs reactions
to new things. We have just completed a new swimming pool and our two dogs had a very amuzing time trying to figure out what the Creepy Crawly was.

i occasionally board an irish water spaniel who
loves the squeaky toys. i have one of those squeaky tennis balls (and tennis balls, btw, are just about the worst toy for a dog, the fuzz strips the tooth enamel) and seamus gets hold of it and squeaka! squeaka! squeaka! squeaka!, it's like being the parent of a child who's just been given a noisy toy.
SHUT UP! you want to yell, KNOCK IT OFF! squeaka! squeaka! squeaka! squeaka! over and over and over. of course, i don't yell or take it away because he's so happy. he doesn't play with it often enough that i have to worry about his teeth and he's the only dog that plays with it so it's no big deal. but oi!

If Bo does like one of my
dogs he will chew the ball up until he gets the sqeaky out. Be cautious and make sure that he doesn't swallow it or you could have one squeaky dog.

Whacky, I love watching the idiocyncracies of pets. I am laughing continuously at Pitiful. She knows when I am laughing at her too and shows me definite disdain. LOL

My dogs seem to
have a problem with finding snakes lately. Snakes are not good toys. My cats play with eachother. They are quite entertaining to me. I love Shelties. Take care

Lol...My cats don't play with toys. Well, they will if you're not watching them. If you even so much as dare look at them, they stop.
Their favourite toys are old drinking straws, shoe laces, and bottle caps. Go figure!!
God bless you and Bo. Give him a pet for me!!...

What a hoot!
My auld mutt used to be amused by such things, but less so as she ages. She seems to sleep about 90% of the time (although I have no clue what she does when I'm at work).

Imagine if Bo had one of those fake racoon tails that move and make noise. Would be a great pet halloween gift...(maybe not)....better stick with crunchy balls...lol
