So What's Left?
Today I began the 76th year of my life. I had always planned on giving up the ghost when I reached 72. That had always seemed like a good day to die (the 72nd anniversary of my birth), back when I was 30, 40, and even 50. Now, I'm wondering why I chose that "goal". I feel like I am living on...

Attention Pod People
I meant to go to the city farmers market, this morning, in search of okra in its prime. It's that time of the year to make the best fried okra ever, and the best has to be small, the tenderest and the freshest. Grandma Sanders' fried okra has been the main subject of our family FB site for days....

It's Coming
