Although I am part-Irish on my mother's side, for some reason, St. Patrick's Day has very, very little meaning for me. But here's something that may interest you that I recently learned ( hopefully you didn't already know this ). The reason the Shamrock is used to symbolize St. Patrick is because he used a three-leafed clover to explain The Trinity to the people of Ireland! Cool, huh?

TAPS

You had a great day! And I'm sure Son's Reuben sandwich turned out fabulous! I haven't had one in ages, but now that you have reminded me, I shall go looking, or even make my own...

I agree - each day does have its own blessing, sometimes hidden by the trials, but there just the same. We Quebec Irish celebrate with Guinness and whiskey. I think we do eat something too.

OMG! I've got corned beef brisket in the crockpot, too.

Guess it's not too surprising, considering the date... Happy St. Paddy's Day!

An uplifting verse you got there...It is amazing how technology enables to interact with people...I am not doing anything out of the norm on Saint Patrick's Day either...The corn beef brisket sounds yummy there.
