This Guilt Is So Painful!

The sadness just doesn't seem to want to end. It's been a month and a half since my dad died and I just can't seem to feel happy. It's selfish but I miss him so much. He will never feel pain or sickness or constantly be cold again. He is with Mom in the presence of God and is completely happy now,... Sign in to see full entry.

A Blogger's Final Good Bye

For all my fellow bloggers who have been keeping up with my dad's progress throughout all of his cancer and treatments, I appreciate all of your moral support and prayers. Dad died officially last Thursday evening at 6:53 p.m. Actually, my siblings and I believe that he died Tuesday night at 11:30.... Sign in to see full entry.

When He Walks With You,

He holds you up or He carries you. Feeling His presence through all the pain, sickness and suffering my Dad has had to endure because of his cancer, Dad has held up marvelously. It has been a good long while since last I have been able to blog. My Dad was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and taking... Sign in to see full entry.

Death Tried To Get Me Today!!!!

This morning, I went up to Dad's (a 45 minute drive) knowing the weather was supposed to be bad south of us but not here and not further north. I was planning on doing his laundry, put a few more things away, fix his lunch, etc. but the weather started getting a little rainy with a few ice pellets... Sign in to see full entry.

A Blogger's Thanks

The nausea and weekness are hanging on tightly even though he finished his chemo and radiation treatments last week. They have to get out of his system so it will take awhile. Dad is weak and tired and can barely stand company, though he knows he is loved by all of his children and grandchildren.... Sign in to see full entry.

How Does This Blogger Ask For Mercy?

This used to be my favorite time of year. When my mom died ten years ago, it was on December 7, and it has brought about many a sad emotion within my family each year. Dad, especially, misses her and we talk about her, remembering the wonderful things she did for us all, the funny things she did,... Sign in to see full entry.

Warm thanks to my fellow bloggers for this.

Today, I spoke with my dad after his daily appointment with the radiologist. He is in good spirits but is living on Boost and Ensure shakes since he can't swallow much of anything. He told me that each morning, he has to take the nausea medicine and that it helps and that each morning he has to... Sign in to see full entry.

This Blogger Needs Your Prayers Desparately!

Since just before Thanksgiving, things have been preventing me from blogging here. My dad is undergoing his radiation/chemo treatments and I have been making the 45 minute drive to his house twice a week to cook, clean, and do laundry for him. He can now only eat very soft foods. He has cancer of... Sign in to see full entry.

"The Hour Of Justice And Mercy Has Begun!"

“One more time I beseech all of you to pray, to help by your prayers the unbelievers, those who do not have the grace to experience God in their hearts with a living faith. I do not want to threaten again! My wish is just to warn you all as a mother. I beg you for the people who do not know the... Sign in to see full entry.

Hate, Depravity, Devil Worship Gaining a Stronghold

Does it seem to you that there are more and more natural calamities? The tsunami, the hurricanes, mudslides, earthquakes, tornadoes, huge forest fires seem to be coming at us in wave after wave. These have all been predicted and people have not listened. Over and over, the Mother of God has appeared... Sign in to see full entry.
