Thank you all so very much for your warm and caring comments. It's people like you who are a real emmotional help to people like me. This is a hard time to go through with my dad and at Christmas time.
He will be ending his chemo/radiation treatments on the 23rd of December and his surgery is scheduled for January 19. He is in good spirits but is getting his affairs in order, just in case. This is extremely upsetting and scary. We all pray for him every day and have a lot of other people praying for him, as well.

I have just had an emotional moment thinking about a special person in my life suffering from cancer. In this situation, and especially at this time of year, we must do our best to stay strong and trust in G-d.

Rame -
I just read about your father. My prayers are with you. I have just been able to get my life going again after nearly losing my mother in a freak accident at the end of October, so I have an idea of what you are going through. Be strong and be love.

RAME, I know this is so hard for you and your family. I wish there were some way I could do more for you. I wish I could hold your hand when you feel like crying.
