April 17th, 2009 3:34 AM Starting a new job today, delivering food for a new restaurant called Eat & Grin. It's located on Eaton and Grinnell streets here in Key West. Clever name. They only opened about a week ago and I know the owner. I'm excited to try it out, even though I know that business will be slow owing to the fact that nobody knows it exists. I'll be handing out flyers or delivering them on a scooter, however that will work, and he'll pay me for my time. I have had a lot of delivery... Sign in to see full entry.
Happy Birthday Richard
April 16th, 2009 5:53 PM Called up my chess buddy to come over and play. Said he would try to make it, feeling a bit iffy health-wise. Keys Picture
April 13th, 2009 9:01 PM Someone asked for pictures, so I'm going to try this out~ This little guy was in my house and I caught him in a large, orange, plastic mixing bowl and decided he would be happier outside~ In relation to my last post, imagine being stressed out or in a hurry after sitting here for a few minutes~ Sign in to see full entry.
Slow Down, You're Not On The Mainland
April 13th, 2009 8:50 PM One of the things that I love most is the laid-back atmosphere here in the Florida Keys. Perhaps it is just a stereotype, everyone living a quiet, mellow, margarita filled life straight out of a Jimmy Buffet song, perpetuated only to fuel the tourist industry, but I don't think so. I see a lot of locals that are peaceful, happy, slow-going folk. A post by TAPS on instant gratification, and the comments she received made me think about this. It relates to one of my...
