Easy Does It

I find myself constantly trying to do too much, too fast. In a race, a hurry, to get wherever I am going. It affects all aspects of my life. From a conversation with a loved one, to my next move on the chess board. Even my blog posts. There are times in my life where I get going too quickly, forget to slow down and enjoy the ride. Gandhi

Be the change you wish to see in the world~ Gandhi I like this quote, and I'd like to think I am growing to fit it. Not that I pretend to know what needs to change in the world. Everything has a positive and negative side. It's why I love the image of a Taoist monk, things just are, they are never good or bad, at least, he doesn't decide which is good and which is bad. Are You Afraid Of Death?

I'm conflicted about death. I find it to be a difficult question to answer, Do I Fear Death?, with a simple Yes or No. Because my answer would have to be both. Obviously, I don't want to die yet, my instincts tell me to survive, that I have more to do on this planet, that there are people that need me here, and I do fear dying, or more specifically, I fear dying before my time. Yet, I feel that when death comes, I will be ready, that there is nothing to fear in it, that it will be a peaceful... Sign in to see full entry.

What's Your Problem?

Hi. Welcome to my 3rd blog. Glad you stopped by. I don't know about you, but the world scares me. What I might see in my lifetime is a huge question. Regardless of your own beliefs, I believe that we live in one of the most exciting times on the planet Earth to be alive. There are a lot of problems and threats facing us today, which may or may not effect our ability to continue as a race or a species or a civilization. In other words, are we all gonna die?
