The Snow Schedule

Retreats

When I entered high school in 2000, the retreat program was undergoing a change. Originally, there was an overnight volunteer retreat for seniors at the end of the school year. Start Time and End Time

My high school started its school day at 8:25 a.m. Dismissal was at 2:45 p.m. Public schools started around 7 a.m. Dismissal for public schools was around 1:45 p.m. I preferred my high school's timing to the public school timing. 8:25 a.m. meant sleeping later. Mass

When I was at my high school, we did have Mass every day during my first two years there. Except for the once a month assembly Masses, we were not required to attend the morning Mass in the chapel. Brother Joseph Kelly

I never had a conversation with Brother Joseph Kelly, who was the director of the alumni office when I was in high school. Nonetheless, I could tell there was a presence to the man.
