In living in today's world for some people it is all about power and control. Others around some people need to be subjugated to lesser roles despite any talents or experience they may have. on three short stories and I have had health problems that are continuing to plague me. Bad back and just a general unwellness. We do have a kitten. It is black and white and my son calls it his kitten. He is very possessive about it. It is cute but it did pooh in his bed which did not have the desired effect of making me like her even more. A couple of weeks ago I lost a good friend and am still mourning her loss. She was with me for nearly 12 years. A wonderfully loyal and devoted companion Bobi. Both my son and I miss her sorely. She has a sense of presence and love that was unequalled. She had cancer. Tumours in the bladder, lungs and near the heart. Her temperature was 41.5 C and the vet said that is not condusive to life and that it would be better to put her to sleep. I cried like a child. My son keeps asking can we go for... It has been a while since I posted here and things have not been good. I have been ill and am going to the doctors tomorrow to find out why I am feeling so yucky. There is still not much happening on the employment front. I am attending group sessions for people who have been bullied by a rather amazing woman who has written a book on bullying and how to combat it. He was well enough to go to friends for lunch and is running around. We went to soccer this morning and he told off the referee????? so I guess he is feeling fine. This year despite the fact that Nir had been rather horribly sick, I was looking forward to Rosh Hashana, our New Year. We had been invited out to four meals and I did not have to get food in and cook but had to grace the tables of good friends and just enjoy their company and the Chag, go to shule and listen to the shofar as well as davening (praying ) a little in between looking after my son. I want to wish everyone all my friends and my not so friends, enemies and people lukewarm towards me – a happy and healthy year filled with sweetness and good things for living. Yesterday they could not get my tooth out fully and I have still got three roots in and must continue the anti biotics until I get the rest of the tooth taken out. The poor dentist tried and ended up sending me for a cranial X-ray and he is referring me to the Royal Dental Hospital to have it extracted. They will have to cut the jaw bone apparently because the tooth had been so filled. I wish he had not tried it and sent me straight to the dental hospital but it could have gone either way. I was... This has really been an interesting weekend so far. I was so looking forward to a peaceful Shabbat. Silly, silly me!
