A DAY OF SNOOZIN', CHIRO POPPIN', A MOVIE AND GRABBIN' AT THE MOON

LUNCH IN MARBLE FALLS....AT PATTON'S ON MAIN....HOW DETAILS MATTER

I had the most wonderful lunch yesterday. In old downtown Marble Falls, Main Street is filled with wonderful stores and a few eating establishments. One of them Is Patton’s on Main. RED RIVER RUMBLE..... ONE FOOTBALL GAME I'M EXCITED ABOUT

This weekend is the 100th “Red River Rumble”….The Texas-OU game…..Texas-OU weekend in Dallas and the opening of the Texas State Fair. ANOTHER DAY IN MARBLE FALLS.....CHIRO, GIFT, PEDICURE, RITA AND LUNCH

A couple of days before I went to Weatherford for the birth of Lila, I went into Marble Falls to do some last minute stuff….a pedicure, a nice lunch and to get something really special for Michele. LILA SLIDES INTO HOME

Lila was 12 days early…the doctor decided she should be induced because she was getting too big. BRIGADOON

“Brigadoon” is on….I haven’t seen that in so long and, tired as I am, I’m going to stay up and watch it. Gene Kelly and Cyd Charisse dancing sparked so many dreams for me as a girl….and their numbers in this movie are the best…especially to “Heather on the Hill” - absolutely one of the most romantic...
