Thanks for reading......hadn't thought of it in those terms.....but that word, "revivalist" sure does bring back warm memories, that's a fact!

Very warm kind of revivalist therapy.

I read your post.....thanks so much for the lovely compliment.  Yes, the massage was so sensuous and relaxing....soothing; it was really different from any other.  This woman was very intriguing.  I'd put her in her late 60's to mid-70's and very well kept, with her makeup perfect - obviously a real looker in her day.  She wasn't athletic in her approach.....didn't push my skin, but deeply stroked it.  I bet she could still put her sons' arms down on the table, too.

What a lovely compliment....thank you so much.  The massage was sooooo warm and soothing, her movements so rhythmic; it would have been impossible not to write about it in that manner.

Hey, we just posted at roughly the same time here, and I've discovered something in your post that fits in my post as an example of what I'm writing about.  I've already used Medusa and Jimsonweed as two examples.  So I've just gone back and inserted a bit from this post, as well, quoting you.  This was really nicely written post too.  I have to tell you, I believe you could pick a pebble up from the road and write something evocative and insightful about it.  You seem able to get so much out of just about anything.  Hey, those massages sound like the living end.  I'm envious

Lovely piece of writing
I like it when prose has a rhythm, and this one most certainly does:)
