Chris's parents are really cool people. I've only met them a few times, but they were always really nice to me and insisted that I keep in touch. So I broke down and did it...
I talked to Chris--even though I've said before that I wouldn't. I DIDN'T, however, talk to him on the phone; only online. When I asked him about his new girlfriend (because, let's face it, I was curious, as anyone might be), he was very evasive with me. He wouldn't even tell me her name! Very odd, I think. I talked to my mom and she says that this is an indication that he's not all that serious about her and that she's probably just a summer fling. Mom also says that he'll come back to me...
