Although my roommate's on break, I keep expecting him to come home at any minute, hear his footsteps on the stairs outside. Sigh. In some ways, I kind of miss him. Friday night, he went out with M and some other friends. R promsed me that he wouldn't drink as much as he usually does. In a side note: it's remarkable how things are with me and M nowadays. I really don't feel anything anymore, which is refreshing. Anyways, yesterday morning, maybe around 4 am, I heard R come in. An hour later, I... Sign in to see full entry.

So basically I'm never leaving the apartment again...
Just kidding. But the amount of money I spent today was enough to make me want to stay indoors and never leave. Here's what I bought: boots ($29.99 on sale), food (about $15, I only go grocery shopping when I'm hungry, that way I don't waste money--therefore, I go shopping for food about four times a week), supplies at CVS ($23), dry cleaning ($32.50--what??? Had to scratch the plan to go to DC...
My friend is going to Baltimore for Passover--her aunt lives there. So I guess I'll go some other weekend. Meanwhile, I'll use this weekend for writing. From the calendar on the sidebar of my blog page, it seems this month that I haven't done that much blogging on Wednesdays. Random, I know. So I thought I'd break the pattern and write today. The good weather is continuing and my mom, who was down in Washington, DC yesterday to see my uncle, says that the cherry blossoms are in bloom. The Cherry Blossom festival is this weekend, so I was thinking I might go down to DC to visit my best friend, who goes to GW and who lost her mother to cancer over... Sign in to see full entry.

So a very, very strange thing happened to me today...
Today I did laundry--sheets and towels. A lot of stuff needed to be washed. I threw everything into two bags--including my comforter. On my way down the steps of my apartment building, a strange man came up to me and said, "here, let me help you carry that stuff." Since the stuff was heavy, I didn't object. I just figured this guy was some crazy, homeless, harmless guy who needed some spare change. Anyways, he TAGGED ALONG WITH ME to the laundromat, asking me all these personal questions about...
