A Tree Grows in Brooklyn for Tuesday, November 28, 2006

Its a small one (about a foot tall), that my mom bought for us... but its a real, live Christmas tree all the same! The packaging was actually a small plastic bag and it came with the lights and ornaments included. It's a very cute tree! I'm not normally into the whole decorating for Christmas thing, but I certainly enjoyed decorating my tree. ...more so than I've had in a long time, what with Thanksgiving and all. I spent the morning filling out applications--specifically, to the Ann Taylor Loft and the Barnes and Noble that are in my neighborhood. Ann Taylor Loft seems like the most promising, but I'll have to see. With regards to the job search, its time I took a step back, and that's what I'm doing; finding a job in retail is fine for the present, or until I can find a real job.
